Write for EMpulse
EMpulse Magazine is published on a quarterly basis. The print publication is a complimentary benefit for FCEP members, Florida legislators, and other key stakeholders in emergency care. Beginning in 2020, all articles will be posted online, increasing access and readership.
EMpulse accepts content from qualified writers on a rolling basis. You do not have to be an FCEP member or emergency physician to contribute, but your article must be relevant to the emergency medicine industry. Submitting an article doesn’t guarantee inclusion.
Issues at a Glance:
- Spring: April-June
- Summer: July-September
- Fall: October-December
- Winter: January-March
1. Send in your ‘Intent to Submit’
Inform EMpulse staff of your intent to submit an article by filling out the ‘Intent to Submit’ Form or by emailing our editors directly. This guarantees space for your article. If you do not submit your intent and simply send in your article, we cannot guarantee inclusion.

- Title of your article
- Your byline (full name, credentials, titles)
- Your mailing address
- Your head shot (high resolution)
- Graphics and/or photos with captions (optional)
- References (recommended)
