Political Action Committees
In Florida, emergency physicians are supported by FCEP’s two political action committees (PACs): Physicians for Emergency Care and Emergency Care for Florida. Together, they make up the largest and most influential lobby in the state.
FCEP’s PACs directly support advocacy efforts in Tallahassee through fundraising. All FCEP members—along with emergency physician groups, billing & management companies, and other organizations that support emergency medicine—are encouraged to contribute their part in the fight for access to high quality emergency care.
Thank you to all who have contributed to FCEP’s PCs. Donors are recognized for their generosity in EMpulse Magazine every quarter.
